– The Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature is a non-governmental, non-commercial organization, which is a collective endeavor of all the teachers and specialists in Russian language and literature from all over India. It is the only association, which can be truly considered be the ‘Voice of Teacher’, since it works for the interests of Russian language and teachers in the Russian field. This association has been set up with the following aims and objectives:

• To encourage teaching of Russian language, literature and culture in all parts of India and to promote academic research in the fields of Russian philology, the methodology of teaching RLLCS.
• To encourage Russian language as an important means of inter-cultural communication and to facilitate the exchange of experience and information of mutually beneficial research and teaching methods, resulting in strengthening of the Indo-Russian cooperation
• To develop professional links and cooperation between specialists and professional who are engaged in the field of teaching and promoting RLLCS.
• To develop professional contacts with universities and institutions collectively and with specialists individually outside the country teaching RLLCS.
• To organize and conduct conferences, symposia, seminars, and other academic programmes related to promoting of RLLCS. Also to organize and participate in national and international events under the banner of INDAPRYAL, which shall enhance the knowledge of RLLCS.
• To exchange with national international organization and institutions the latest publications, catalogues, reference materials, and periodicals. It shall organize book fairs to introduce new publications. It shall facilitate contacts with various publishing houses in and outside India involved with publication of materials of RLLCS.
• To provide assistance to the possible extent to the teachers of RLLCS in overcoming professional problems, if any, in their respective institutions.
• To ensure the bringing out of a journal on RLLCS periodically.
